SUMMER BASEBALL: BRADFORD COUNTY JUNIOR BOBCATS (2012-06-11)
CanTroSports The Bradford County Jr. Bobcats dropped their final game of the Corning Tournament Saturday to LeBoeuf. Dylan Bates held LeBoeuf scoreless over five innings and the Bobcats took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning. Nick Place came on in relief and was tagged with the loss, as the Bobcats gave up five unearned runs in the inning to lose 5-4.
Bates surrendered two hits, walked one and struck out seven. Place gave up two hits, walked two and struck out three. The Bobcats committed three errors in the game.
Canton’s Connor Route had two hits in the game, along with two RBI and a stolen base. Cody Pickett also had two hits and scored a run, while Route’s brother, Trevor, added a single.
Place and James Zajac each had a single, an RBI and a run scored, and Troy Stivason added a single, a run scored and two stolen bases.
