SUMMER BASKETBALL (Girls): CANTON BEGINS OFF-SEASON PLAY (2012-06-13) CanTroSports The Lady Warriors, under the direction of first-year Coach Ryan Vannoy, began their summer tilt at Mansfield University Wednesday. Canton dropped their first game to Cameron County, 54-22.
Macy McMurray led Canton with 8 points. Chelsea Heatley scored 6 points, while Abby Larcom had 4 points. Madison Thoren and Abby Herman chipped in with 2 points each.
After a week off, Canton will continue league play the following Wednesday.
