LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: District 15 Playoff Information (2012-06-23)

With the Little League post-season beginning District pool play, the Troy and Canton area will be represented by only five teams across ten divisions in District 15. Neither league was able to field a softball team in any of the available divisions.
Both Canton and Troy will have a team entered in the 9-10 year old "Minor" baseball division. Both squads will compete in the Midwest Division for their pool play tilts. Other teams in the pool are Northern Tier and Southern Tioga. Sixteen total teams will battle for the District title.
Canton, Troy, Northern Tier, Southern Tioga and Towanda will make up the Midwest division in the 11-12 year old "Major" division, where nineteen teams will be competing.
Troy will also field a squad in the five-team Junior baseball division. The other teams competing for a District Championship are Athens, Southern Tioga, Tioga Lawrenceville and Wellsboro.
