LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: Troy Juniors Win District Title (2012-07-14)
CanTroSports The Troy Junior baseball team picked up a 10-6 win over Southern Tioga to win the District 15 title.
Troy opened the post-season by going 4-0 in pool play, winning their four games by an average of over ten runs a game. Entering bracket play, Troy picked up a 14-3 win over Athens, then played the team from Southern Tioga three straight times.
With a 7-6 victory over Southern in the first of their three match-ups, Troy dropped the next contest 10-9, forcing another game for the title.
Troy will now play on Thursday in Danville at a site to be determined.
