SUMMER BASKETBALL (Boys): CANTON SPLITS LAST TWO LEAGUE GAMES (2012-07-16)

The Canton varsity boys' basketball team wrapped up their summer league in Waverly Monday, splitting a pair of games.
Against Notre Dame, Canton picked up a hard-fought, 49-48 win behind 16 points from Emmett Watson and 15 from Eddie Larcom.
Mason Moore had 9 points, while Wes Moore had 4 points, Dylan Fleet had 3 and Theron Binford had 2 points.
Down to five players in their second game, Canton hung with Horseheads for a half, and entered the third quarter down 6 points. Exhaustion became an issue, and Canton fell 71-43.
Watson led Canton with 17 points. Larcom added 14, while Moore had 9 points and Fleet chipped in with 3 points.
