TRAVEL SOFTBALL: XTREME HEAT Avenges Early Season Loss
The Xtreme Heat travel softball team from Canton proved Wednesday that all of their hard work and games are paying off, beating the Port Fury 5-4.
The Heat had dropped previous games to the Fury by scores of 17-2 and 9-2.
Sidney Wheeler threw a complete game to pick up the win, striking out one and walking one.
At the plate, Emily Jennings had a pair of singles, while Zoe Ayres had a single and two runs scored.
Brooke Ward and Lauryn Watkins had a single and a run scored each, and Joslyn Spencer added a single, while Maggie Machmer scored a run.
